About Us

Theodore Worcester

Ted, the curator of this blog is a student at Wheaton College. After his stint in Alaska, he flew almost directly to London for a year abroad at the London School of Economics. He grew up in Waterville, Maine and lived there until going away to college in Norton, Massachusetts. Okay, enough with the third person… The summer of 2010 was my second summer in Coldfoot, Alaska. I arrived a bit later than last year, in fact, I was the last coworker to arrive at camp and was one of the last to leave for the season. I was in Alaska until September 20th and flew to London on the 25th. I mailed my road bike to Alaska from Maine this year (via USPS – with lots of insurance!). I road a bit on the Dalton Highway, which was very interesting (see: Ice Road Truckers) and incredibly liberating. In a sense, the blog this time around was more of a photo blog. All of the pictures that you see posted on here are taken with a Nikon D90 with an 18-200 lens.

Cory Limberger

Cory is entering his 3rd year this fall at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and attended high school with Ted at Waterville Senior High School. He grew up in Vassalboro, Maine, home of the famous (or infamous), nationally renowned topless coffee shop. Before his freshman year of high school, his mother homeschooled him and his 4 other siblings. Like Ted, he studies Economics. On the side, Cory trades currency in the foreign exchange market (forex).
